- My name is Robin Elaine Speir Halverson. I would like to think that my mother named me Robin because I was born in the spring. I would also like to think that she gave me that name because she knew I would love nature and use nature as a means to happiness. Whether or not those were her true intensions, I don't know but I will pretend that they were. I would like to use the Robin bird as the theme for my blog. In the nest egg will be the treasures I have collected throughout my life. The treasures may be an object, a person or an experience.
Our oldest granddaughter is 11, too. It's amazing how fast they grow up! Tori's a beauty.
